Congenital generalized lipodystrophies are autosomal recessive disorders characterized by a near absence of adipose tissue , extreme insulin resistance , hypertriglyceridemia , hepatic steatosis and early onset of diabetes. ,function:May act as a scaffolding protein within caveolar membranes.
