function:ICAM proteins are ligands for the leukocyte adhesion protein LFA-1 (integrin alpha-L/beta-2) . During leukocyte trans-endothelial migration , ICAM1 engagement promotes the assembly of endothelial apical cups through SGEF and RHOG activation.
