Phospho-CRMP-2 (T514) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of CRMP-2 protein only when phosphorylated at T514.The name of modified sites may be influenced by many factors, such as species (the modified site was not originally found in human samples) and the change of protein sequence (the previous protein sequence is incomplete, and the protein sequence may be prolonged with the development of protein sequencing technology). When naming, we will use the "numbers" in historical reference to keep the sites consistent with the reports. The antibody binds to the following modification sequence (lowercase letters are modification sites):TVtPA

背景:
This gene encodes a member of the collapsin response mediator protein family. Collapsin response mediator proteins form homo- and hetero-tetramers and facilitate neuron guidance , growth and polarity. The encoded protein promotes microtubule assembly and is required for Sema3A-mediated growth cone collapse , and also plays a role in synaptic signaling through interactions with calcium channels. This gene has been implicated in multiple neurological disorders , and hyperphosphorylation of the encoded protein may play a key role in the development of Alzheimer's disease.
